CA17597 George HODGSON m.Margaret McKIM. George was an overseer at Bonawe Iron Works, Argyllshire. Founded by a Lake District partnership, Bonawe is the most complete charcoal-fuelled ironworks in Britain, now an historical site with displays charting its history and information about the iron-making process. George's roots are not known; we do know he was born in LAN ENG. Margaret was born 1812 in Glasgow RFW SCT. This family tree also turns up in India IDA.
