HODGSON
(Boston, co.Lincoln). Quarterly, first and fourth, gu. three hangers
or falchions barways in pale, the points toward the sinister ar. hilts
and pomels or, for HODGSON; second, lozengy ar. and gu. for FITZWILLIAM;
third, az. a chev. betw. three cotton-hanks ar. for COTTON. Crest-A
dexter cubit arm, holding in the hand a broken and bloody hanger, the
pomel and hilt or, point gu.

ar. hilts and pomels of the second. Crest-On a mount vert a falcon,
wings close, ppr. beaked, legged, and belled or, collared dabcettee
ar. and pierced through the breast with a sword of the last, hilt gold
vulned ppr.
